We follow a holistic approach to counseling which is solution focused and deals with the psychological, emotional, spiritual, and physical health of an individual. Within the safety of the counseling relationship, you may address current life struggles, as well as issues of wellness, personal growth, or career development.
In the role of counselor, we join with our clients to identify your current challenges as well as your personal strengths and goals. We then help you create a plan and develop new skills to overcome the obstacles you're facing. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Often people are unaware of the negative thoughts linked to their anxiety which prevent them from moving forward. We help you recognize and change those beliefs which contribute to low self-esteem and depression. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will discover long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions which may be preventing you from experiencing a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
